"I am a qualified BACP registered counsellor, working with a Person-Centred approach. Known for my warm, caring & compassionate nature, with the strength & resilience to support clients with a receptive attitude and an open mind. I offer a therapeutic relationship that will support you identifying areas of difficulty either past or present, resulting with you moving forward with new perspectives and healthier coping mechanisms."
"Working as a qualified BACP registered, person-centred therapist I offer a safe, non-judgemental space where you, the client, will feel able to reflect on your experiences, voice your thoughts, feelings, anxieties and concerns. Together, in the therapeutic relationship, we can explore the impact these have on your everyday life and support you in processing and identifying areas of difficulty and support you in moving forward with improved coping mechanisms."
Our counsellors work in a Person-Centred Therapy approach. Person Centred Therapy, (PCT), is also known as Person-Centred Psychotherapy, Person Centred Counselling, Client Centred Therapy & Rogerian Psychotherapy. PCT is a form of talking therapy developed by psychologist Carl Rogers.
The goal is to provide you with an opportunity to develop a sense of self wherein you can understand your attitudes, feelings and behaviour to help you find your true potential. In this technique, your therapist creates a comfortable, non-judgemental environment by demonstrating authenticity, empathy and unconditional positive regard towards you in a non-directive approach. You will gain insight and the ability to develop your own solutions to your problems.
